I love dishes. And I love organization. So, I love for my dishes to be organized. I love to open my cabinets and see "pretty!" This picture was taken after dinner one night, so the shelves aren't as full as they usually are, but you get the idea. One of my favorite "organizational" shots in the arm is when the holidays come and I switch out the dishes for awhile. The whole cabinet takes on hues of greens and reds, and it looks totally different. Then, when it's over, I'm back to my blues and whites, and the red bowls and mugs, and even that is a shot in the arm. You have to shake it up sometimes!
I like the motto "a place for everything and everything in its place." And so, the glasses sit nestled together, right next to the ice in the freezer and the iced tea in the fridge. The dishes sit above the dishwasher, and...

ware? I've about decided there is NO PLACE for
Tupper-
ware. I'm almost to the point of just throwing it in there and slamming the door quickly before it can roll back out...
but not quite. :)
I would LOVE to see some of y'all post pictures of your cabinets... it's a peek into how you live. ESPECIALLY the tupperware cabinet!!! (unless you're greener than me and you own no tupperware, only lovely glass containers, lined up in neat little rows in your clean pantries... in which case, post them anyway... I can enjoy drooling!)

So brave you are...but then again, I would be brave also if my cabinets looked like yours. You will NEVER see a picture of my cabinets on the internet...kidding, they really aren't that bad. But you truly are brave...i'd rather open my heart to complete strangers all over the world than let ya'll in to see the inside of my fridge, pantries or cabinets. No, kudos to you, Jennifer, for showing us the beauty that lies behind those doors!
I could photograph my cupboards, but never the tupperware, i throw it in with hopes it won't roll out.
I too love changing to Christmas dishes!
Btw-there is a new magazine out called "Organize." I am one of those people who actually enjoys organizing. i may be an addict.
My hubby also makes Saturday a.m. b-fasts. Our husbands could exchange recipes :-)hehe
How do you feel about "skinny panacakes" (crepes), oh and he makes the best "wooffles," no boxed stuff.

Tupperware can be hard to organize. I put all my lids together (vertically) in a square tupperware container. Then I stack all the round containers- bit to little. I then stack all the square containers- big to little. That leaves me with odds and ends that I am able to stack.

I've tried the stacking. The bad thing is, to get to the middle ones or the bottom ones, you have to pull the whole stack out... good idea, bad reality for me. I'd love to see how you manage it effectively. I hate that cabinet!

My cabinets are actually great right now. That's what the pressure of having your house on the market will do! Love your dishes!
